Value of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose versus Capability of Government of India
Unlike the days I used to say Modi Sardar or BJP Government, today I am using the exact words to call the centralized governance of our country as Government of India. Modi Sarkar denotes a strong Government led by a strong leader of first class with minimum Government and maximum Governance. Such a thing for Narendra Modi doesn’t stand true when it comes to declassify few files, it should be called as Government of India – a traditional Government that achieved Dominion Status in 1947 and continuing till date on the same line as prescribed and trained by British Government of Britain.

When India was a slave of British, a lot of named-unnamed and famous-unknown persons had not only sacrificed their lives but also finished the lives of their families and that too for one cause to see their Bharat Mata (Mother India) free.
But when the country freed because of their efforts, then the British-styled historians didn’t consider it necessary even to include their names while writing wrong and influenced history. They only remember the names of those who belonged to a single family called Gandhi Family or Nehru Dynasty. They even altered the history in their way to match the style of a dynasty, who doesn’t have any ancient proof of existence. Instead of praising the revolutionaries, the western and western-styled Indian historians named them as militants or terrorists. What a great shame for Mother India?
The same scenario was happened with a person who was titled as “Patriot of Patriots, Prince of Patriots” by the God Father of Nehru Dynasty – Mr. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi also known as Mahatma Gandhi. That person was a disciple of Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Das, a staunch follower of Swami Vivekananda, a biggest devotee of Mata Dakshineshwar Kali, a believer of Bhagwad Gita, and a staunch practitioner of revolutionary activities.
We are talking about
a person for whom a follower or a writer is and will always remain confused whether to use “was” or to use “is”
a person who is a master of revolutionary activities, disguise, disappearance and patriotism
a person who didn’t raise a struggle to free his motherland but declared a War against the British Crown and America
a person who established Second Provisional Government of India, First Azad Hind Bank and Third Indian National Army
a person whose Army even defeated reached its aim by giving birth to Royal Indian Navy Mutiny in 1946 that led British Government to free India
a person about who last British Governor Mountbatten warned Jawaharlal Nehru that if you supported him and he came back then whole country had to be given to him in a platter
a person of whose information of living in Russia led the third Prime Minister of our country and first Prime Minister of Dominion Government of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, file a written compliant to Clement Attlee, the then British Prime Minister
a person whose status is more than any prestigious award even Paramvir Chakra or Bharat Ratna
a person to whom if Bharat Ratna is given then the glory of Bharat Ratna will be increased
a person who can neither be classified as living nor dead
a person to whom this Country and its Countrymen are not capable to pay homage
Can you guess the name of this person? We are talking about Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. A few countable qualities of this Prince of Patriots are listed above.

He sacrificed his career and complete life to free his country. When it was evident that Congress would not function without Gandhiji’s dictatorship then he resigned from the post of Congress President even after defeating the forced candidate of Mahatma Gandhi – Pattabhi Sitaramayya. After that defeat, Gandhi told that it was my defeat and not of Sitaramayya as I stood him on my shoulder to fight this election. To take revenge, he indirectly forced Subhas babu to leave the post of President. Subhas Chandra Bose founded Forward Bloc and organized its convention in Ramgarh nearest to the place where annual session of Congress was running. Forward Bloc attracted more participants than that in Congress session. In that convention, Forward Bloc held that foreign help was more than necessary to free India.
Following the same, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose disappeared from the house arrest in Calcutta to Afghanistan and then moved to Germany. After the refusal of Hitler and on his suggestion, Netaji once again disappeared and went to Japan after a 100 days journey in undersea submarine. In Singapore, Ras Bihari Bose (a precursor to Netaji) provided him the command of Free India Legion and Indian National Army. Subhas Chandra Bose wasted no time in creating Second Provisional Government of Free India (Azad Hind Sarkar) and Azad Hind Bank and declaring an official war against the United Kingdom and the United States.

Indian National Army under his command attacked on British India and reached Kohima and Imphal and hosted their national flag there. Netaji even took control of Andaman and Nicobar Island and renamed them as Shaheed and Swaraj Island.
When all that was going on, British Government had walled India and declared Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose as a puppet of Japan and Germany. Even the then Congress leaders including Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Patel, and Jawaharlal Nehru were against Netaji. Nehru himself declared, “If Subhas would bring soldiers from outside and enter India, then I would be the first person to take sword in hand and oppose him.” Gandhi was also saying openly, “The people make no distinction between British imperialism and the British people. To them, the two are one. This hatred would even make them welcome the Japanese. It is most dangerous. It means that they will exchange one slavery for another. We must get rid of this feeling. Our quarrel is not with the British people, we fight their imperialism. The proposal for the withdrawal of British power did not come out of anger.”
Do you guys have an iota of idea that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose created a Government in parallel to the Government of Japan with jurisdiction over Shaheed & Swaraj Islands (Andaman & Nicobar Islands), he had a bank and when he disappeared he left behind 23 large trunks full of gold, he raised money and army using Indians residing outside country. If Japan had to make India slave it never had let Subhas made different Independent Government. Why people forget the example of Dr. Ba Ma Shaw who freed Burma with the help of Japan. In the same year 1943, Japan also gave independence to the Philippines. Both Burma and Philippines had received freedom after attack of Japan without any “Transfer of Power”, without any partition, and without any pros & cons. Some areas were occupied by Japanese Army in order to keep up their attack on British forces and these areas were vacated during retreat. India was in the strongest position much better than Philippines and Burma because Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose had formed Azad Hind Government in exile and was on same status as that of Prime Minister of Japan. His bank officially took loan to repay after independence. On the contrary, Philippines and Burma were totally dependent upon Japan. Not only Indian National Army took equal role in attacking on British but Azad Hind Government also surrendered separately not with Japan after defeat.
Netaji had sent various messages and distributed literature secretly in India urging the people to provide the food and assistance to Indian National Army to let them reach Delhi. But the people of this country were so ungrateful that no one gave a heed to his notices. INA was defeated because of no ration and no help from inside India. Japan could not help more as America dropped two nuclear bombs on its soil in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Japanese military personnel was either committing suicide or retreating or dying during retreat because of no assistance as Japan was not in a position to help its Army even. Thousands of INA soldiers and Japanese military personnel were died during the attack and more than that died during retreat. Where they were going? Were they going to make a holiday or to make a honeymoon, no they on route to free India. And current people for that country had no respect for them today. Thousands of INA soldiers were eaten alive by maggots. Do, do you know what maggots are? If not heard before then watch few videos on YouTube after searching for maggots. These videos are so disturbing that we have not included them here.
Even if Azad Hind Fauj @ Indian National Army defeated but when its soldiers arrived on Indian soil and told the truth to countrymen, thank God this country listened to them. That’s why Royal Indian Navy Mutiny occurred in 1946 in which 20000 sailors, 20 shores, and 78 ships participated.
The then British Prime Minister Mr. Clement Attlee even included this incident while delivering his speech in 1946 on Indian Independence Act. Attlee said, “I have had a fairly close connection with this problem now for nearly 20 years, and I would say there have been faults on all sides, but at this time we should be looking to the future rather than harking back to the past. This alone I would say to hon. Members, that it is no good applying the formulae of the past to the present position. The temperature of 1946 is not the temperature of 1920 or of 1930 or even of 1942.”
So what had happened in 1946? Nothing else but this Royal Indian Navy Mutiny started because of the revelations made by Azad Hind Soldiers to those military men who’re saying that bond of salt is stronger than country. Signalman M.S. Khan and Petty Officer Telegraphist Madan Singh led this revolt and began calling themselves “Indian National Navy”. British Government called Sardar Patel and Mohammed Ali Jinnah to negotiate with the mutineers after which mutineers retreated.
However, their message was more than crystal clear for the British Government that they could not block the flaming gases of and in the volcano more.
Freedom struggle was a volcano in deed and in fact, and war with Siraj ud-Daulah and war with Tipu Sultan were its starting bursts but First Revolt of 1857 was a larger burst out that could not be handled easily. Police, Lord Macaulay educational system, Criminal Procedure Code, Code of Civil Code, etc. were the successful tries to break the backbone of Ancient Indian Society. Risley experiment, Aryan-Dravidian concept, and other divide & rule games were also successful. Still the volcano of freedom was gaining more & more fuel to pump up and burst out. Congress, Home Rule League, salutation of Roy Bahadur, sending young men to Europe for free study, Raja Ram Mohan Roy, and other soft hearted gentlemen were nothing else but the pipe system implanted and controlled by British Government to control the volcano.
Still there were different stages of bursts in form of Birsa Munda, Gopal Krishan Gokhale and others prior to Gandhian period. Mahatma Gandhi even not planted by British proved to be the largest and successful pipe system to control the bursting of this freedom volcano. The volcano finally burst out with the arrival of INA soldiers in form of Royal Indian Navy Mutiny that led British create their exit plan by passing the Indian Independence Act 1947 in British House of Commons and completing the proceedings of Transfer of Power.
If Indians had listened to the voices of Netaji and if Congress including Gandhi, Patel, and Nehru had supported Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose to let his INA reached Delhi, there was a new history of India. It would have gained freed completely and gained Complete Independence instead of Dominion Status. This would have let today’s Prime Minister, Ministers, and President to sign “Document of Complete Independence”. Alas they all are signing “Transfer of Power” documents during their oath. This transfer of power not only came with Dominion Status but also with partition of our motherland and independence to 565 princely state to decide whether to go with India or Pakistan or stay independent as a third nation.
It was Netaji that forced British Englishmen to leave India and the same was propagated by Clement Attlee who was the key figure and the then Labour Party’s British Prime Minister when Transfer of Power was awarded.
P.V. Chakraborty, former Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court and acting Governor of West Bengal in 1956, met Clement Attlee ex-Prime Minister of Britain when he was on a personal tour to India on March 30, 1976, in Raj Bhavan Calcutta to launch the book of Ramesh Chandra Majumdar titled “History of Bengal”.
Chakraborty asked, “Why British left India? Which made it necessary for them to leave India in a hurry even when the Quit India Movement of Gandhi practically died long before in 1942 itself?”
Clement then explained the reasons to leave India and the major reason was activities of Indian National Army founded by Subhas Chandra Bose and coming back of these soldiers to birth the unrest causing Royal Indian Navy Mutiny which failed British Government to control without help of Patel and Jinnah. He said it was quite difficult to control the military mutiny as British Empire was firmly stood only on it till then but INA led by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose broke these pillars.
Chakraborty again asked, “How much the decision of British to leave India was influenced by Mahatma Gandhi’s 1942 movement?”
Clement Attlee smiled and replied very softly by giving stress to each alphabet, “M I N I M A L”.
Now, I want to ask my fellow countrymen about the value of a man who sacrificed his life and everything to bring freedom to India and to make you feel freed even in a dominion state. Do you value that man – Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose? What is his value? Just a tweet, a post, a small news section, or a Facebook post by the ungrateful Government or Prime Minister. Is India capable today enough to give a birthday gift to Netaji? Have current Prime Minister Narendra Modi capability to disclose the top secret files of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose? Can India write an official letter of approval to Russia, China, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Germany, Italy, Australia, United States of America, United Kingdom, Taiwan, and other foreign countries to access the Netaji files stored in their respective archives? Have BJP the current ruling political party power to uphold the findings of Justice Manoj Mukherjee Commission and create a fully authorized SIT led by a Supreme Court Judge to extend its inquiry?
